I watched Leslie, Kaylee and Kate's voice threads. I learned that there are so many resources to use when teaching science in the elementary classroom. After watching the different voice threads of my peers, I was able to see just how much I have to choose from when teaching science. It was fun to observe the different programs that are out there, and I enjoyed seeing what my peers came up with. I watched a peer work in Stellarium with the moon phases and the imagery was so realistic and interesting to watch. The fact that you can look at the different phases of the moon without any distractions in the sky is really neat. The Kidsperation program is great for tracking results and observations. You can make it colorful and fun for the students, which are some things I enjoyed about it. Both of these programs are great for teaching different concepts to students, while keeping it fun.
